Ms. Meraj H. Khan (Chief Executive)

As an Education and Development Advisor, Ms. Meraj Hamyun Khan has wide experience in the fields of community development, education, health, nutrition and emergency food management and micro-enterprise development especially for women. She has to her credit the founding of two famed institutions, the NGO, De Laas Gul and the high school, LIMS. De Laas Gul functions as a catalyst and facilitates education, skill development, and improvement of health nutrition condition for rural women and out of school children using the principles and methodology of participatory development approach. LIMS—a Centre of Excellence, a senior and reputable private high school, imparts education to age group 3 years to 16 years. She also worked for United Nations World Food Programme for 7 years as adviser on health, nutrition and other related problems of local and Afghan women and children in rural KPK.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Ms. Khan is the recipient of the Izaz-e-Fazilat Presidential Award in recognition of her contributions towards female education in rural areas. She is a member of the BoD of FATA Development Authority and Consumer Protection Network. She has also served as Coordinator Pakistan NGOs Forum, a national coalition of NGOs and CBOs working in the four provinces of Pakistan. Ms. Khan was inducted into the recent Caretaker Provincial Government (Nov 2007 – Mar 2008) with the important portfolio of Minister for Education.
During the short term she helped restructure and improve the delivery system of the Department and its affiliated offices. She also prepared a comprehensive education plan to bring all children of the province into schools in the next four years.

Mr. Shah is highly resourceful, flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic individual, who possesses a considerable amount of experience and knowledge of HR, Admin & Finance officer  Quick learner, who can absorb new ideas and is experienced in coordinating, planning and organizing a wide range of logistical and administrative activities, well organized and an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively in a complex and busy office environment also have more than 9 years of experiences. Currently he is engaged with DLG as a Director Operations.

Zahid Shah (Finance Manager)

Mr. Zahid Shah is an incisive, well organized and veteran finance professional, possessing progressive and diversified finance experience, of over more than 6 years in the field of Finance and Accounts to excel and enhance its operations, combining cross functional competencies in all phases of accounting and finance, possessing diversified and comprehensive expertise. He posses proficiency in efficiency management, financial reporting and analysis, processes and financial systems, and efficient workflow for highly strategic inputs to enhance the financial solidity of the organization. He posses high stress tolerance and consistently achieve performance goals through diligence, tenacity and hard-work. He is well versed in analysing financial reporting, using technology efficiencies and implementing stringent cost reduction measures with a proven ability to develop and integrate processes and procedures in alignment with GAAP that impacts efficiency and bottom line productivity. He has worked abroad as audit compliance manager and currently joined DLG family as Finance Manager

Graduate from one of the most prestigious institute of Pakistan, had an experience of working with national and multinational Organizations. Serving De Laas Gul (DLG) as a Manager HR & Administration to cope the activities of department, Shah is considered and appreciated as a good addition to the versatile team of Organization.

Mr. Aftab Ahmed (Project Manager)

Over 09 years of experience in Social sector on different positions both on management as well as on financial side. He has the ability to design financial flow planning, implement and monitor different projects at any sector. Currently he is serving in DLG as Project Manager in RPPE Project.  


Syed Zaffar Ali Shah (Project Coordinator)

Mr. Shah is working in DLG since 2004. He remained in various projects like Literacy Project, Relief & Rehabilitation Project, and Elimination of Child Labor Project etc; on different positions like Project Assistant, Assistant Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Cluster Coordinator and Senior Field Coordinator. He brings over ten years experience in social sector. Having experience with different Donor Agencies. His areas of expertise are Monitoring and Evaluation, Disaster Management, Community Motivation and Community Development, he is currently serving as Project Coordinator on Project title " Take a Child to School" at District Nowshera.

Mr. Rawaiz Khan (HR and Accounts Associates)

Rawaiz Khan got his Master Degree in Economics from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, he has diverse type of experiences in social sector and has much experience in MIS portal as serving at HR & Accounts Associates.
